Version in Apsley House London

edit

There is a version of this painting in the collection of the First Duke of Wellington, on display at Apsley House (“Number One London”); oddly, I have seen sites displaying an image of the picture, with an attribution back to Wikipedia, yet it isn’t mentioned in this article (it is just one of several Velazquez paintings in the collection, a portion of which was a gift from the King of Spain to the Duke, who rescued the paintings which had been looted by Napoleon from Spain). Ghost's Prequelle

edit

Does it belong in the 'Influence' section of this article that this portrait was used in inverted form for the cover of Ghost's album Prequelle? 121.45.122.129 (talk) 14:48, 25 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
