Regarding CRYSTAL

edit

Before anyone asks, here's why this article doesn't violate WP:CRYSTAL:

  • CRYSTAL says Wikipedia is not a collection of unverifiable speculation, rumors, or presumptions, emphasis on unverifiable. The speculation discussed in the article is very much verifiable.
  • CRYSTAL also says: It is appropriate to report discussion and arguments about the prospects for success of future proposals and projects or whether some development will occur, if discussion is properly referenced. [...] Predictions, speculation, forecasts and theories stated by reliable, expert sources or recognized entities in a field may be included, though editors should be aware of creating undue bias to any specific point-of-view.
  • This article is not just about the speculation itself; it also discusses the analysis of the speculation, as well as executives' response.
  • The information covered in this article would be too much to incorporate into a section on either Apple Inc. or The Walt Disney Company, both of which are extremely large articles.
  • CRYSTAL aside, the subject of this article clearly satisfies WP:GNG, with significant public interest and WP:SUSTAINED coverage from a vast array of some of the most highly reputable sources.

The first three paragraphs (lede) cite no references, and there are plenty to be found with a quick Google.com search. 184.166.97.71 (talk) 21:30, 23 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Per MOS:LEADCITE, citations are not required nor necessary for the lead as this information is already sourced in the body of the article, with the lead serving as a summary of that material. Trailblazer101 (talk) 21:36, 23 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
