The result of the move request was: Moved Potočani (disambiguation) → Potočani; Potočani → Potočani, Novi Travnik, Potočani, Bosnia and Herzegovina → Potočani, Odžak and Vukosavlje. No such user (talk) 17:57, 3 March 2022 (UTC)
- Potočani (disambiguation) → Potočani
- Potočani → Potočani (Novi Travnik)
- Potočani, Bosnia and Herzegovina → Potočani (Odžak and Vukosavlje)
– The DAB page (created just now) lists five villages with the identical name, all in Bosnia and Herzegovina. None is WP:PTOPIC either by itself or in that country. The proposed moves will bring consistency. Narky Blert (alt) (talk) 16:47, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
- Support per nomination. The one-sentence stub for the village, population 194, is most certainly not primary. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 23:30, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
- Support the Doboj one gets 18 views, the Bosnia and Herzegovina one has 8, the Bugojno one has 8 and the Livno one has 6, compared with only 11[[1]] for the Novi Travnik one. I'd try to find a better disambiguator for the Odžak and Vukosavlje if possible though and the Novi Travnik one should probably be Potočani, Novi Travnik rather than with brackets like others in Category:Populated places in Novi Travnik as there's nothing at Wikipedia:Naming conventions (geographic names)#Bosnia and Herzegovina that suggests brackets should be used. Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:51, 11 February 2022 (UTC)
- @Crouch, Swale:I prefer comma-separated to parenthetical qualifiers for placenames "on general principles". However, there's little consistency in some countries (Germany and Italy spring to mind); and Potočani is an example, because 2 of the 4 unambiguous names on the DAB page use one and 2 the other.
- I agree that (Odžak and Vukosavlje) is ugly, but it's difficult to think of anything better - the place is split between the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska. Narky Blert (alt) (talk) 13:21, 13 February 2022 (UTC)
- @Narky Blert (alt): Per WP:PLACEDAB the tag is normally a comma and of the 51 in Category:Populated places in Novi Travnik all 17 that need disambiguation use a comma. I'm less sure though if the Odžak and Vukosavlje should use a comma though, since it has 2 different places as a qualifier brackets may be better. Crouch, Swale (talk) 16:59, 13 February 2022 (UTC)
- Support per nom.--Ortizesp (talk) 01:17, 13 February 2022 (UTC)
- Support, but use comma disambiguation for place names. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:57, 16 February 2022 (UTC)
- Support comma for Novi Travnik only. Showiecz (talk) 04:25, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
