I live at Potterton and it is not a village it is an ancient hamlet with many ancient monuments. Potterton consists of Potterton Hall. Some of the surrounding dwellings once belonged to Potterton Hall and were lived in by the servants. These dwelling are now privately owned and The Hall is divided into three wings. Brick Pond Farm was the Home Farm but is now a private dwelling as is the barn conversions. For comfirmation please look at The Barwick Historical Society web site.
Regards Potterton resident
