The result of the proposal was No move Parsecboy (talk) 14:43, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
I was merely looking for the history of the TERM "Power lunch" ... perhaps this entry should refer to it?
I was also looking for an explanation of the general term, "power lunch." Fledchen 14:41, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
- This sounds like a good idea to me too. Because it is potentially destructive and we don't have a replacement page/disambiguation, I've made a Request Move. Hullo exclamation mark (talk) 21:44, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
- As you say, there is no replacement page ready (or even proposed), so there is no need for disambiguation of the title at this time per WP:DAB. If an article about the concept of "power lunching" were ever to be written, a move could be reconsidered. Station1 (talk) 01:50, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
- Rename and replace with a dab page. There is one other link, and you can use a wiktionary link as well. Someone might want to write up something on the business lunches called power lunch. `76.66.195.159 (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 03:28, 20 December 2008 (UTC).
- Oppose. Just make a separate article for the general term at power lunch. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 06:35, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
- No, don't "just make a separate article for the general term at power lunch." Power Lunch and power lunch should direct to the same place per WP:PRECISION. Also, there is probably no need for an article on the term "power lunch." That's what Wiktionary is for per WP:DICT. However, having said that... — AjaxSmack 00:11, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
- ...Oppose since "there is no need for disambiguation of the title at this time" and there might not ever be (see WP:DICT). If there was, it would be at business lunch and a hatnote at Power Lunch would suffice (see also WP:DLINKS). — AjaxSmack 00:11, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose - no need for disambiguation. Rambo's Revenge (talk) 09:24, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:CNBC U.S. - Power Lunch logo 1997.gif
editImage:CNBC U.S. - Power Lunch logo 1997.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
