A WORD OF NOTE: There are some online sources that mention Powers Great American Midways is based in Burgaw, North Carolina. While it is the location of the winter quarters as well as their refurbishing facility, along with the annual route beginning and ending in North Carolina, the corporate filing for the company is through the New York State Department of State under Amusements of Rochester, Inc. out of Corfu, New York. Any written correspondence for PGAM is sent to a post office box there. A home office was located in nearby Cowlesville, New York, which may now be an old address, but corporate operations continue to occur in New York State.
