List of monuments
editHi Godsy. How are you? I am not very active on en.wikipedia, so I do not follow discussions in this project closely and I was unaware there was a current discussion on Listeria generated lists. From an editorial point of view, and looking specifically to this entry, your edit has erased relevant content with references. I don't see how this could be beneficial to en.wikipedia users. Wouldn't it be enought to keep the list and shut down the bot? Thanks. --Joalpe (talk) 13:11, 11 February 2019 (UTC)
- I have moved the list here. Such lists have many problems, including being editor-unfriendly, being harder to watch, and including links to Wikidata which should be avoided in the mainspace. Please include the information in the article in a different format, which doesn't get automatically overwritten by a bot. Fram (talk) 11:05, 13 February 2019 (UTC)
- OK, gotcha. I have added back the table without the bot. Just saying this is to me a surprising editorial choice as hardly nobody will ever edit on Wikipedia in English this frozen table --which will keep being improved on Wikidata, as a reflex of improvements on Wikipedia in Portuguese. Not sure why this is happening, but it is surprising. Bye. --Joalpe (talk) 16:15, 13 February 2019 (UTC)
