editWhat is the source for the "biggest castle" claim? AFAIK Carcassone, Sedan, Windsor, Caerphilly and Spiš castles are much bigger. Halibutttt]] 10:38, Sep 23, 2004 (UTC)

Those are more towns than castles.
- According to director responsible for maintenance of the castle [1] its area is 43 hectares, the buildings alone take 9 hectares. Pavel Vozenilek 16:01, 24 September 2005 (UTC)
Could someone familiar with the castle tell me the origin and significance of the statue of the naked youth which stands in one of the courtyards near the eastern entrance? Intelligent Mr Toad 12:58, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

Ye olde Heydrich legends
edit... old legends say a usurper who places the crown on his head is doomed to die within a year. Less than a year after assuming power, on May 27, 1942, Heydrich was ambushed... Klaus, his firstborn son, died the next year in a traffic accident, also in line with the legend.
Heydrich succumbs to the ancient supernatural forces of Prague Castle, just like "old legends say". Thank you, Wikipedia!2A02:AA1:101E:2F14:25E0:1C39:FF16:97ED (talk) 11:52, 26 December 2020 (UTC)
Feedback for the map
editI have created a new map for the castle. I am not a native speaker. If there are any errors in the labeling, please write to me on the file page or in my discussion. Thanks and greetings Lencer (talk) 10:02, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
- @Lencer::Hi! I found these errors:
- "St. John Nepomuk Chapel" => "St. John of Nepomuk Chapel", or better (more common translation) "Chapel of St. John Nepomuk".
- "Plečnik-panoramic terrace" => "Plečnik Lookout".
- "Representation rooms of the President" = "Representation rooms of the president" (per wiki conventions).
- "St. Wencleslas vineyard" => "St. Wenceslas Vineyard" (official name).
