Is the Alternative rock a correct genre for Pray for the Wicked?
editI have listen to the few song by Panic! at the disco and I know some of the song well. In there 6th album their music is primarily mainly pop music with element of Electropop or Baroque Pop. There is two genre currently showing on Pray for the Wicked Wikipedia page- Pop music and Alternative rock. But while Alternative rock have references on it, I am not sure if there is not much alternative rock songs on this albums, as majority of songs are mainly pop music. I left the talk page to others Wikipedia users to discuss about it if there should be change on genre. 80.233.56.166 (talk) 16:10, 21 December 2020 (UTC)
- @80.233.56.166: I don't agree with the inclusion of alternative rock. If the source supports it, the genre has to stay regardless. However, I checked the source for alternative rock and it doesn't seem to support the genre explicitly. I doubt we would be able to find other sources to support the genre. Plus, I think most sources would call this a straight pop album, not rock or alternative rock. So, I think alternative rock should be removed. Bowling is life (talk) 20:30, 21 December 2020 (UTC)
