Om Mani Padme Hum

This section does not have any references. It hasn't had any references for quite a while. It makes claims that are fairly clearly not based in demonstrable fact, stated flatly as though they are, in fact, easily-demonstrated facts. It is being deleted. --67.218.17.97 (talk) 13:50, 18 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Digital prayer wheels?

edit

Hello! http://www.dharma-haven.org/tibetan/digital-wheels.htm claims that by storing copies of the prayer on my hard drive, then just by running the computer and having the hard drive turn (5400 RPM) I can gain all the benefits of prayer wheels? Is this true? Ewlyahoocom 15:36, 5 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

No, you need one of these. Arbitrary username 12:14, 17 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Changes made to article and Talk page

edit

I have removed two stub notices today as the article has improved and grown considerably since they were added. I have also added two more categories: "Tibet" and "Tibetan Buddhism" and a "WikiProject Tibet:Tibetan Buddhism" link to this talk page. John Hill 03:07, 19 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

digital prayer wheel generator

edit

Hi editors,

I tried to post a link in this article djvrilyuk.com/wheels.html

The post was removed by Quiddity, this is a thread: User_talk:Quiddity#djvrilyuk.com

I still think it's the right thing to do.

It is a cute idea, though it seems to take the concept of prayer wheel to an extreme of minimalism. One could go a step farther counting virtual revolutions of a solid state drive. I think that external links should show representative examples and sources for more detailed coverage of the topic. I don't think this link is either. Bcharles (talk) 15:05, 22 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Suggest merging Tibetan Prayer Wheel into this article

edit

I propose that Tibetan prayer wheel be merged into Prayer wheel. The former article is short and could easily be made a section of the latter, adding to it without making it too long.CharlesHBennett (talk) 04:09, 21 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
