editI wonder if "I can do this if you want me to" is instead an example of ellipsis, because the clause is equivalent to "I can do this if you want me to do this". The ellipsis eliminates repetition. What do fellow wikipedians think? Oliverbeatson (talk) 20:11, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
