Should There Be More Emphasis on Rejection of Bishops?
editKnowing nigh on nothing of the history, I am curious if the lede and article more broadly should emphasize that the presbytery was adopted as a rejection of the hierarchy of bishops, as is noted in Footnote 13, quoting James Rankin. This may not be the case and it might be offensive to describe the faith as based on what it rejects but I expected to find much more discussion of bishops here. - Should probably be emphasized in the history section, which needs a lot of work. --Jfhutson (talk) 16:41, 20 October 2022 (UTC)
- Yes, and also of the idea of the "only king and head of the church" being Jesus. StAnselm (talk) 16:42, 20 October 2022 (UTC)
