Focus
editThis article should be an explanation of the office of the presidency, not just a list of people who have more or less led Kosovo. Superm401 - Talk 10:15, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
- I concur, it should explain what his powers as President are etc. I don't know much about the setup of Kosovo's new government unfortunately. What sort of state are they setup as now? Parliamentary democracy, Presidential Republic or something else? TheArchaeologist 06:43, 24 February 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hpelgrift (talk • contribs)
Edit-warring (September 2010)
editBiblbroks, I would kindly ask you to revert yourself here and engage in discussion; I don't want to edit-war with you. Cheers. — Kedaditalk 17:54, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
- I thought that giving an edit summary ("attempt in unbiasing"...) as opposed to not giving any edit summary marks the start of a discussion. The explanation for this first edit being laconic is that I thought that bias was clear: Head of state, which implies that Kosovo is a state. On the other hand I agree with you that there's no need for an edit war. I was kind of more worried because of Sundostund's edits without an edit summary so it reflected this way. Thanks for your patience and apologies again. Finally, my objection is that choice of the term head of state is bad because it implies that Kosovo is a state. All the best to you, --Biblbroks (talk) 21:23, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
- Whether it's a legitimate state or not, Kosovo does have a president. Actually it has two - one for the Republic of Kosovo and one for the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija. Both are named in the article. Although it could do with some refocussing, this article is not biased. Bazonka (talk) 09:11, 12 April 2011 (UTC)
- You are right if we presume either that Kosovo equals Republic of Kosovo, or that Kosovo equals Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija - then it has exactly one president. The problem is with the first sentence "The President of the Republic of Kosovo is ...", I think. Why, article is titled President of Kosovo, not President of Republic of Kosovo. I believe this is where the primary shift of focus should occur - either in the title or in the first sentence (or both). Regards, --Biblbroks (talk) 13:15, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
- I guess for the sake of clarification that should be done. Anyone want to start an RM? Sir William Matthew Flinders Petrie Say Shalom! 17:38, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
- Request a move? Then I suppose there would be at least two articles for president of Republic of Kosovo and for prefect of Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija. What about this article - to a dab page? Regards, --Biblbroks (talk) 22:12, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, that would work, it would help calm some of the nationalist fervor involved in this. Sir William Matthew Flinders Petrie Say Shalom! 04:23, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
- Ok, I guess then you have an idea on how to word a dab page? --Biblbroks (talk) 13:41, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
- I will after I find an encyclopedia to look up what it means and how to do it. Hmmm... but where would such a thing exist? =p (jk, yeah, I'll get on it soon) Sir William Matthew Flinders Petrie Say Shalom! 16:09, 17 April 2011 (UTC)

Warum ist der Titel auch auf Deutsch?
editWhy is the title also in German on English Wiki? Is there a large German-speaking minority in Kosovo I don't know about? Sir William Matthew Flinders Petrie, AKA TheArchaeologist Say Herro 23:44, 7 March 2011 (UTC)
