List of Presidents
editAdded to the list:
- Francisco Castellón
- Gobierno Bipartidista (I don't know the correct translation, Bipartite Government doesn't sound good)
- Revolutionary Junta (in Spanish; Junta Revolucionaria de Gobierno)
My source is the Ministry of Education, the information is on the 4-6 grade text books, and on their website; mecd.gob.ni (in Spanish). If you think this info is accurate and the source reliable, I'll proceed with fixing the links on Succeded by and Preceeded by and writing the missing bios. --Magicartpro 07:17, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
The external reference I've added appears reliable from a cursory examination. It shows the "bipartisan" presidents (Conservative and Liberal); I think "Gobierno Bipartidista" is superfluous. J. Peterka 13:48, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
- The original source of the link you provided is here, it's from the Ministry of Education's website. There was in fact a two-party junta ruling the country from June 24 to November 15, 1857 (Jerez/Martínez) and I think this article got to reflect that and not listing the two Presidents individually. --Magicartpro 21:10, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
- Please feel free to replace the external link I provided, if you think the Ministry of Education's website is more appropriate. J. Peterka 21:42, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Added to list many presidents -- replaced bullet points with table. Used Spanish wikpedia article's table.
Turnout
editIt is stated on a table that turnout out was 100% where I think that what is meant is 100% of the votes. I do not think that is likely. Turnout is the percentage of registered voters who voted. I think that instead of turnout we should have another word. I will make th change.Brusegadi 02:10, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

Move suggestion
editI think this should be moved to List of Presidents of Nicaragua or List of Nicaraguan Heads of State. I came here looking to see how the powers of the Nicaraguan Presidency have risen and fallen, particularly over the past forty years. I am left wondering, is Ortega a popularly elected (and sustained) president, or is he like the President of China? This article is little more than a list, and tells me nothing.--Unschool 00:50, 26 January 2020 (UTC)
Reorganization
editReorganized list of supreme directors and leaders under Federation by replacing the bullet point list from the original article with a table from the Spanish wikipedia. Also added many presidents that were left out.
