U.S. Navy
editMy understanding (from having visited the place) is that this is a service provided to the White House by the U.S. Navy. This should be mentioned in the article.—MiguelMunoz (talk) 16:16, 18 April 2010 (UTC)
Separate from the White House chef
editI don't have a source, but I think we should mention that the White House Executive Chef is not connected with the Presidential Food Service, since that's a bit surprising if you know nothing of the history and structure of presidential staff. GA-RT-22 (talk) 22:05, 24 June 2023 (UTC)
whitehouse.gov1.info copyvio
edit@DanCherek: Why did you add the PD-notice template here? [2] Was some of the text in this article taken verbatim from that web site? The problem is that the web site is not public domain. GA-RT-22 (talk) 17:52, 28 June 2023 (UTC)
- You're right, I had confused it with the official White House website. Thanks for pointing that out to me. Yes, text recently added by the IP last week was copied from that website. I will remove that now. DanCherek (talk) 17:53, 28 June 2023 (UTC)
- Well that's too bad. Thank you for taking care of this. GA-RT-22 (talk) 18:14, 28 June 2023 (UTC)
