Links to papers associated with the various presolar grain types in the list might come in handy for students doing research projects. I can help with part of this, but probably not all. Who is an expert on what? Thermochap (talk) 18:15, 13 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

A separate section: Origin of Presolar grains?

edit

(This article links a few times to Cosmic dust so I added this same question over there because it too might benefit from a separate origin section.) So my question is, might it improve this article if it had a separate section on the origin of presolar grains? There are a few relevant statements in this article but it might help to add a specific section that could provide more focus on details of how these grains may have formed. Thoughts? Heliocentrism

edit

The sentence "Presolar stardust grains formed within outflowing and cooling gases from earlier presolar stars." is a bit too heliocentric.

It implies that no stardust grains formed since the sun's birth more than 4 billion years ago, elsewhere in the universe. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.225.76.125 (talk) 07:07, 6 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
