1974 edition of this book?
editA number of new editors/spas have been adding unreferenced details to this article about a supposed 1974 edition of this book written by Jean Marzollo and illustrated by Marcia Sewall. i reversed the edits as "not referenced, cannot find anything online about an earlier (1974) edition, nothing in WorldCat, no bookseller sites offering it, nothing from google", . They appear to be deriving the information from this Lost Media Archive site and/or an Open Library page here, that was created on 16 january (the same day information was added to this wikiarticle). These webpages also include details from the 1990 edition, probably derived from the wikiarticle. the rest of the information (including the so called cover picture) appears to be made up ie.
- the so called libray of congress no. 45654444. a search on the loc website yields nothing, a search on WorldCat yields nothing relevant
- the so called isbn 4654334565433. a search on the loc website yields nothing, a search on WorldCat yields nothing
Further:
- a search for marzollos works at loc brings up the 1990 edition only, nothing for 1974 (see here),
- a search for Sewall's works at loc brings up nothing about this book (see here),
- a search for mazollo's works at WorldCat doesn't bring up anything relevant (see here)
- a search for sewall's works at WorldCat doesn't bring up anything relevant (see here)
So overall i reckon this "book" is a hoax and doesn't exist. Coolabahapple (talk) 03:39, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
