Two (or maybe more) Pretty Beaches
editHow do we handle naming an article for the other Pretty Beach on the South Coast of NSW (whereas this one is on the Central Coast)?Sterry2607 (talk) 17:17, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
- Interesting situation - although is there a real chance that an article would be written for the other one? I've confirmed it's a gazetted locality (the South Coast one I mean) so it's theoretically possible/notable. Our normal method would see " (Central Coast)" added to the name of this one and " (South Coast)" added to the other. This happens for example with Balmoral (where there's one in Sydney and one on Lake Macquarie). Orderinchaos 17:28, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for the response. I think there is a possibility though I note that at the moment a couple of the beaches in Murramarang National Park are mentioned in that article so the South Coast Pretty Beach could, conceivably, go there - but that Park article is looking a bit ugly at present. Pebbly and Pretty Beach on the South Coast are pretty well known because they are lovely AND they are frequented by wallabies and other wildlife. Anyhow, I'm probably not about to fuss about it now - just wanted to raise the question. I suspect there are more Pretty Beaches around too - there's one in Queensland (but that of course can have the Qld qualifier). CheersSterry2607 (talk) 12:32, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
