Talk:PriceGrabber

Latest comment: 8 years ago by Cyberbot II in topic External links modified

The opening statement and description of the company seem to be more PR than they are factual. Nevertheless, this may be the honest opinion of a past customer.

The link with Experian and the proliferation of tracking cookies indicate that PriceGrabber is not as benign as the existing article suggests.

It's hard to see on the surface why a credit rating bureau would have any business interest in making markets for consumers. This deduction, coupled with the fact that pricegrabber placed 10 cookies on my system without offering me any value in return, and in a Mozilla environment with NoAds, BetterPrivacy, and NoScript running, strongly suggests that they are mining data from end users without proper authorization or compensation. 1DesertRat (talk) 06:38, 22 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

hyphen?

edit

The article says "distributed content commerce service". I think a hyphen belongs in here somewhere, but I can't understand the sentence well enough to know. Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 03:25, 15 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
