Pride 33: The Second Coming[2] was a mixed martial arts event held by Pride Fighting Championships on February 24, 2007 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the night's main event welterweight champion Dan Henderson knocked out Pride Middleweight Champion Wanderlei Silva, stripping him of his title to become the new middleweight champion.[3] This victory by Henderson avenged an earlier loss to Silva after their first encounter in 2000 at Pride 12, with Silva winning that fight in a three-round unanimous decision.[4]

Dan Henderson did not strip him off the belt, he won the itle from silva, stripping of the title in sports (boxing, mma ect...) is when the governing bodies remove the title due to non-defending, drug suspension or contract disputing (Punisher88 (talk) 04:22, 6 September 2009 (UTC))

• Yeah just gives the incorrect idea of how it happened, makes it sound like Henderson was granted GM and screwed Silva for the belt like in a pro-wrestling scenario lol(Punisher88 (talk) 05:51, 6 September 2009 (UTC))

Second Greatest Fight

Sherdog listed the Gomi/Diaz fight as the second greatest fight of all time. Would that be good information to include, provided I can find the blasted link? JY23 (talk) 16:52, 21 December 2009 (UTC)
