Representation of rational numbers

edit

Would it be appropriate to point out here that if negative multiplicities are allowed all positive rational numbers can be uniquely represented? Ian S (talk) 11:02, 28 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I came here hoping to find out why finding a number's prime factors was useful in real life (cryptography?) would it be an idea to add this sort of information here? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.21.228.204 (talk) 18:37, 31 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

I have no idea what "Euclid's geometric position" is, but I left it in its own section for someone else to clarify. I removed the disambiguation link to the Star Trek episode; I don't imagine many people are arriving here by searching for the title of an episode of Voyager. I'm also re-rating the article's quality to Start. -Bryanrutherford0 (talk) 02:59, 18 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
