Spelling
editI think this article should be called Alexandre of Belgium. His brothers and sisters are also known by their French names in English. It would be odd if he were the only one to be translated to English. Ivo von Rosenqvist (talk) 22:50, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
- He is known as Alexander in Dutch, Belgium's majority language. It could be that he is known as Alexandre in English, but I seldom hear of this person even in the Belgian media, so I doubt there is an established English usage. Känsterle (talk) 19:25, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
I think the following paragraph should be revised
editThere has been some friction between the children of the "first" marriage and the "second" marriage in the past. But nowadays Alexander and "Laeken" seem to have made their peace and the Prince and his wife join the rest of the royal Family in public appearances.
The sense (and meaning) of this sentence: "But nowadays Alexander and "Laeken" seem to have made their peace" seems ambiguous (above all that "Laeken" word which I cannot understand completely in that context) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.79.136.171 (talk) 17:48, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
