Dutch Oranges

edit

The Dutch national football team used real names in PES1 against what was allowed at the time. Probably the most-known fact about this game is that the Dutch players in the game were named 'Oranges[random number]' as Konami were not allowed to even use fake names due to their use of the names in the previous instalment without permission. (Unfortunately I can't find a reputable source from the time regarding this, so I'm not going to put it in the article, but speak to anyone who's played PES2 and you should get this as a response.) --DixieKongJD (talk) 12:49, 30 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

PlayStation release

edit

The PlayStation version, released only in Japan, is named World Soccer: Winning Eleven 2002.

This line I removed. This is NOT true. The PS1 version of this game was released in Europe. Also, this was stated in the right box of the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 176.105.182.112 (talk) 10:49, 1 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
