If "//prob//lehm// Example: bell has a problem" has to be there, it should find some encyclopedic form. --82.131.109.135 (talk) 16:58, 22 June 2017 (UTC)
Inconsistency
editPROBLEM - defined by the oxford dictionary is a matter or situation regarded as unwelcome or harmful and needing to be dealt with and overcome. (noun)
"they have financial problems"
synonyms: difficulty, issue, trouble, worry, complication, difficult situation, mess, muddle, mix-up;
PHYSICS•MATHEMATICS an inquiry starting from given conditions to investigate or demonstrate a fact, result, or law.
And Disambiguation derives from the word Disambiguate. Disambiguate is defined as to establish a single semantic or grammatical interpretation for.
As you can clearly see. There are inconsistencies therefore to have the word Problem next to the word (disambiguation) as such will cause confusion.
The irony here is the definition of a disambiguation is a removal of uncertainty or confusion. StarkeSolutions (talk) 20:38, 20 August 2019 (UTC)
Primary topic
edit@Bkonrad: We're trying to fix the same issue simultaneously. Redirect Problem has been boldly retargetted but I think the IP has a point. This may be a case like Large where WP has no article on the primary topic and we should move this dab to Problem per WP:MALPLACED. What do you think? Certes (talk) 11:41, 27 June 2020 (UTC)
- I dunno. Of the choices available on the dab page, I don't think any are even remotely close to the sense covered by problem solving. But a wider discussion might establish consensus one way or the other. older ≠ wiser 14:42, 27 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Bkonrad: Following your edits, the pages are now in a consistent state with not obvious problems. Maybe we should leave it there unless there are any further developments. Certes (talk) 15:02, 27 June 2020 (UTC)
