editThis fellow's on the Chicago City Council, as I understand. Surely that makes him eligible for WP:POLITICIAN? Regardless - give me five minutes to get some sourcing, but there's no reason for this to be deleted. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 21:45, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
- OK. It's quick and dirty, but it should do the trick for now. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 21:49, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
There is no evidence yet he fulfills the requirements of WP:POLITICIAN I'm an elected member of Preston City Council and I don't fulfill the requirements. Prestonmag (talk) 22:00, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
- From WP:POLITICIAN:
- Generally speaking, mayors of cities of at least regional importance are likely to meet this criterion, as are members of the main citywide government or council of a major metropolitan city.
- While this is "generally speaking", I think Chicago qualifies as "a major metropolitan city". The three references I posted were about the first three that I found in a cursory Google search; I'm sure that deeper searching would yield more press coverage. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 22:06, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
Mobster
editCan anyone tell me why is he in the category of "mobsters from chicago"? —usernamekiran(talk) 21:08, 27 September 2017 (UTC)
- No idea but any contentious unsourced material regarding a living person should be removed immediately. I have removed the category per WP:BLPCAT. Politrukki (talk) 16:16, 6 November 2017 (UTC)
