Third paragraph of lead section
I have removed the majority of the third paragraph of the lead section, because it is original research and not verifiable, and doesn't seem like a good fit for the lead section.
With sufficient citations, reinstating this paragraph elsewhere in the article (a new "Examples" section?) wouldn't be a bad idea. However, as it stands, it seems to consist entirely of original research, which Wikipedia is not the place for. I tried to find some sources, and found ones for the fact that Microsoft product keys are 25 characters long [1] and they use a specific set of characters [2], but I couldn't find anything describing the number of possible product keys. anowlcalledjosh 🦉 (talk) 13:12, 24 December 2016 (UTC)
