editIn economics, production is the act of satisfying a want or need.[1) Seriously? Satisfying a want/need is production? So, eating is production? Honestly!
Production must involve applying resources. This application/usage must involve some effort. The effort/process is what creates use/place/time value or utility. The outcome of this effort is what then satisfies the need/want.
Production is the act of creating value.
