Proposed Split of the article into individual lakes

edit

This article was started as an adjunct to Geology of Minnesota, and as a starting point for articles on lakes which do not yet have pages. Once a separate article on each lake is created, a category can be created and populated with those articles, and this page can be deleted. Kablammo (talk) 20:50, 25 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

I agree with Kablammo that the page should be split into unique articles per lake and that this page should be converted to a list of the links to those pages. The rationale is to provide a unique entity articles that can be linked to from semantic services when referring to the specific place and in WikiData the properties are linked to a unique entity instead of group of entities for this page. Given the geologic nature of these proglacial lakes they are notable. If not you, then who? (talk) 02:28, 13 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
Wolfgang8741, I have little involvement with Wikidata, but agree that each of these lakes should have their own article. It has not been a priority for me, as indicated by the complete absence of progress toward that end for the past eight years. Should you wish to take that on I will assist. Dates

edit

This is a history article but there are no dates. Can anyone supply estimated timeframes? Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.81.253.188 (talk) 02:47, 26 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
