PRIDE vs Space Rider

edit

There appears to be a follow-on of the IXV called the Space Rider.[1] I am unclear how this relates to PRIDE. I have not found a clear source and am hesitant to edit without clarification. Thoughts? Dbsseven (talk) 13:47, 27 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

This BBC article[2] says "Space Rider is the new name for Pride-ISV with a slightly different design". Since it looks as if Space Rider may actually be built and flown, I think a new WP article might well be justified, especially since it looks rather different from PRIDE - it's reverted to an IXV shape and looks a lot less like the X-37. Thanks, I had not seen that. And yes, a new article would likely be helpful. Dbsseven (talk) 18:30, 28 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
@SteepLearningCurve: I finally got around to starting a Space rider article as there are finally enough sources to have some content. Dbsseven (talk) 21:33, 19 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
It seems like PRIDE is the name of the program, not the spaceplane. Updates are due, and likely finalize the merge. Cheers, Rowan Forest (talk) 17:42, 15 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
