editI've removed the claims "introduced by Gordon Plotkin in 1977. It is based on the Logic of Computable Functions (LCF) by Dana Scott." from the introduction (which were added by myself a while ago, IIRC). I'm not sure if the Scott's manuscript actually uses the name "PCF" anywhere, or if this was instead introduced by Plotkin or someone else. —Ruud 09:47, 18 July 2013 (UTC)
- Robin Milner (1973). "Models of LCF" calls the system in Scott's 1969 unpublished manuscript "a logic of computable functions". Ergo, Logic of Computable Functions should probable be merged here. —Ruud 10:10, 18 July 2013 (UTC)
