article focus is the PMBOK, not the Guide, editing help needed
Per the second Articles For Deletion (AFD) process linked above, the topic of this article is to be the Project Management Body of Knowledge, not a specific guidebook and especially not one specific edition of that book. Although there is overlap, the "history" should be the evolution of the body of knowledge, not a report on changes between editions of the Guide book. For example changes in the formatting or illustration of the Guide are perhaps improvements in the educational quality of the book, which is different than any change in the body of knowledge. To recent editors, please help in revising the article this way.... --doncram 16:17, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
- Concur with this observation... I would offer to you that the problem with this article is that it relies almost exclusively on primary source materials. there is an inadequate of secondary material. I had originally thought about labeling this article with a primary sources tag '{Primary sources|article}" but am not sure. Any thoughts? Cheers Risk Engineer (talk) 16:02, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
- User:Hulmem Re [1] It's inconsistent with the italic title! As it's not the book, then it shouldn't have an italic title, and mentions that aren't the book shouldn't be italic. Widefox; talk 16:47, 15 August 2018 (UTC)
- The Infobox book template was automatically (and in this case presumably inadvertently) italicizing the title. I added the italic title = no parameter to the infobox to disable this. --hulmem (talk) 15:19, 21 August 2018 (UTC)
