History section

edit

The structure of the history section is inconsistent. There is an Asia subsection and then another subsection for 21st century, as if there is no 21st century history of prostitution in Asia. There is also a Middle Ages subsection, which might be relevant if this was only about the history of prostitution in Europe, but the fall of Rome and rise of the renaissance has no bearing on the history of prostitution in most of the rest of the world. I suggest dividing the subsections geographically such as Asia, Europe, etc and then within those subsections to go chronologically. JustBeCool (talk) 21:40, 18 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Virtual sex is not a type of prostitution.

edit

Virtual sex is not prostitution. It constitutes another branch of the sex industry or sex work, as Wikipedia itself cites for example stripping or erotic dancing, but it cannot be a type of prostitution because it does not meet the requirements (also cited by the Wikipedia itself at the beginning) that the other types do have. Therefore, the 'virtual sex' section within 'procurement methods',by definition, should be eliminated. MiguelATM1903 (talk) 17:40, 8 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
