editI've removed the ref for the taxobox image, as it linked only to another article "borrowing" heavily from this one. It has additional information on cherries in general, and the identicle image from the taxobox; but also other nice P. maximowiczii photos. I felt it was innappropriate as a ref, but because of the other photos of the species, was appropriate as an external link.
I also ammended the text to reflect that the fruits ripen in August, rather than the seeds. Hamamelis (talk) 19:35, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
