Area

The area where Prunus padus grows seems to be wrong. The German Wikipedia page states that it grows all over Europe, and the books "Steinbachs Großer Pflanzenführer, Ulmer" and "The Royal Hirticultural Society: A-Z Encyclopedia of Garden Plants K-Z" agree with that. --87.177.133.165 (talk) 22:44, 23 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Culinary use?

The article says: "In Russia the fruit of the tree is still used for culinary purposes. The dried berries are milled into a flour of variable fineness that forms the principal ingredient of bird-cherry cake." I think a reference is needed here since the fruit of Prunus padus is poisonous.
