Structural accuracy
editI've seen several references that suggest that the structure needs revising to match http://www.chemspider.com/Chemical-Structure.9867673.html (note that this differs by having a free OH at carbon 15) eg. the graphical abstract: http://pubs.acs.org/doi/ipdf/10.1021/jo400260m
- This is indeed correct. Carbon15 should bear a hydroxyl, not a methoxy. Unfortunately, the ChemSpider entry displays the incorrect structure, as does the PubChem entry. This also makes the molecular weight inaccurate. The corresponding CAS entry in SciFinder is correct. Harmonslide (talk) 17:07, 13 July 2015 (UTC)
- I've updated the structure with the correct one and will be filling out the Chembox.Harmonslide (talk) 17:29, 13 July 2015 (UTC)
- Issues have been addressed. Harmonslide (talk) 19:05, 13 July 2015 (UTC)
Reference issues
editThe 2004 reference was for a ChemInform abstract rather than the primary citation and was thus misleading--it's been corrected to reflect the actual citation. Harmonslide (talk) 17:07, 13 July 2015 (UTC)
The two citation formats have been made consistent with each other. Harmonslide (talk) 17:07, 13 July 2015 (UTC)
