Weekend
editIt's interesting that the weekend in Qatar is Friday/Saturday, but are they really all public holidays? Ziggurat 01:43, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
- Some industries would close on Friday and reopen on Saturday. However most government offices and companies have two days holiday which is every Friday and Saturday. Kangxi Emperor (talk) 13:47, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
References
editI would like to know whether the template "unreferenced" dated April 2008 should be removed as I personally think this article has a sufficient amount of references (three), considering the size of the article. Regards Kangxi Emperor (talk) 14:15, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
Independence Day still a Public Holiday?
editIt is certainly true that the Independence Day of Qatar is September 3rd. But I believe that it is not celebrated as public holiday on that day anymore. Instead, I think the National Day will be used. However, the references on the internet are meager. Could someone in Qatar check this out, please, and confirm/fix this article? Thank you. --Wribln (talk) 14:49, 21 February 2012 (UTC)
