Ostrock in general
editIf anyone has any knowledge or interest in the subject of East German culture, and the rock music that is generally held to be its most representative element, please let me know, as there are still several other articles that need to be written. That's all, ProhibitOnions 12:07, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
- As you might recall I'm interested in it, but I know very little about East Germany, so I doubt that I could help very much, if at all. Tev 18:56, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
- Sure you can. Peer-review K...! for me. If it looks like something needs explaining, expanding, cutting down, or whatever, that woud certainly be help. And of course, you can fix any mistakes or tangled sentences you come across. Regards, ProhibitOnions (T) 20:48, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
- Will do! Tev 00:20, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, I went through and did a quick edit. Didn't see a whole lot to change in there, quite honestly. You're a very good writer. The only major thing that I could think of is that, while fairly comprehensive, it still seems somewhat short. I don't really know if it's something that could even be expanded upon, but consider similar bands from the era such as King Crimson. Admittedly, they are an Western, English language group, and as such are likely to have more information availabe about them, which would increase article size.
- Anyways, that's about my only major comment upon the article, otherwise good job. For this article as well, particularly since you did this one, mostly, by yourself!
- Should you need any other peer-reviewing or anything, just drop me a line on my talk page. (By the by, I am the same user who requested this article to begin with, I've since changed my user name) Tev 04:34, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
- Belated thanks for that, and will do! Regards, ProhibitOnions (T) 12:25, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

Pronunciation
editI've never heard the name of this band pronounced. Is it what one would expect based on orthography(?): [ˈpuːˌdʏs] —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 169.229.87.187 (talk) 15:20, 26 April 2007 (UTC).
- Yes. I might add that to the article. Regards, ProhibitOnions (T) 14:36, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
No Citations, References
editAwhile ago I removed a dead link, and information that link would have provided, namely the number of albums sold. I noticed that someone re-added the information, but failed to provide any citation. Wikipedia doesn't have any other information on how many albums this group has sold, and with no external link showing the number of albums sold, I inserted a citation needed tag.
I also noticed that there are no references at all in this article, so I also added the reference tag for this article. If you have any references for information please add them to the article. Thanks. Dantheman102100 01:05, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
Ok, since nobody is willing to provide a citation for the number of albums sold, I am removing the unverified number of sales. Dantheman102100 (talk) 01:31, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
- Why don't you do it? While you're removing a dead link, you could look to see if the same information is available at a different URL, rather than deleting it altogether. It may seem a little odd to complain about a lack of references if you have previously deleted them yourself. Unless, of course, you did search for this elsewhere and didn't find it, in which case please mention this somewhere. ProhibitOnions (T) 14:48, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
- I did look, that was my first thought. I havent been able to find anything that cites the number of albums sold, therefore incerted the citation needed tag. A month or so later and no citations on the number of albums, so I removed the unverified claim. I dont see any problem here. If you would like to provide a proper citation, then please be my guest. - No. ProhibitOnions (T) 11:22, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
- According to de.wikipedia.org, it stands for Peter, Udo, Harry, Dieter, the names of the founding members. -- Sloyment (talk) 19:23, 4 January 2020 (UTC)
