pulse power applications pulse technology easily affect biocells . alot of experiments are needed to find out the field intensity needed to effect the cells,we can design such a network of nanosecond pulse and kv ranges which can destroy a harmful cell only and may break bactria cells membrane the followings are some applications of pulses:
Shock waves: Kidney stone disintegration (20-70kV/10kA/10µs) Material recycling, mining, rock fractioning (30kV/500kA/200 µs) Pulsed fields: Cancer therapy (linacs: 20/5/0.5), magneto-forming (30/100/10), accelerators/long range radars (20/20/10) Pulsed laser applications: Ophthalmology/skin cancer therapy (20/5/1), industrial ( machining, micro machining): 30/15/1 Environmental: sterilization (tools/medical waste/food/organic waste), flue gas treatment/waste destruction: 30-50/30/0.5 Plasma processing: surface treatment/curing: 30/5/10 Electro thermal processing: nano-powder fabrication (30/100/10), electro-thermal guns (30/500/1000)
some times we need negative pulses of high amplitudes(1 to 6 kv) these can be easily obtained by using low resistance capacitive discharge circuits. milivolt amplitude nanosecond pulse width pulse may affect human cell. Such pulse may destroy cancerous cells in living things. Cell membrane may burst and its resistance may be increased by artificial chemicals inject in body. I such a way some treatment to dangerous diseases may be diagnosed. in place of Negative or positive pulse such bipolar pulse may be more effective in cell destroying. Atomic level research and observation are required to detect the effect of pulses in cells.
