PROBLEM: There is a date problem with this entry. It states that "concept for the pumpkin bomb originated in December 1944", and later states that "The test program was initiated on 13 August 1943", and then "On 3 March 1944, testing moved to Muroc Army Air Field". Must be an error here, as the concept can't have originated after the development of the bomb. LarryB55 (talk) 05:29, 17 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
This was for the high explosive version. Previously, testing was carried out with the inert version. Altered the text to make this clearer. Hawkeye7 (talk) 07:45, 17 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
PROBABLY AN ERROR: The Description section mentions "The Fat Man also had four external mounting points for radar antennas ...". Since a radar transmitter at that time would have been large, the source probably meant it had attachments for radar reflectors, which would have allowed better tracking by radar.71.230.16.111 (talk) 02:00, 14 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
