Implementation in different countries??
editI'm from the UK and I know that my father born 1917 was a pupil teacher. He was exceptionally intelligent, only interested in photography and became a WW2 RAMC radiographer. His stepfather refused him the right to go to grammar school, saying he had to go and earn some money. He never had the slightest intention of becoming a teacher.
