Clean up tag
editI'm not sure I see what the problem is with this article. The article content is pretty neutral as other company's wikipedia page. There are all facts that can be found in public domain. I also what could be confusing in this article, and all the sources are reliable third party sources. Angusf27 (talk) 13:22, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
- The article has multiple issues. First of all, there has been no attempt to establish notability. Please find additional sources that indicate the importance of the company according to the guidelines in WP:ORG. Second, the page only contains positive information about the company. Please use use sources that are not affiliated with the company as the main sources and use the company website only to fill in missing details. Some of the statements read like advertising material. For example in the first sentence, "world leading provider of natural sweeteners" sounds impressive but actually means nothing. More factual statements are preferred such as "is ranked #? as a natural sweetener provider on the world market" (fill in the ? with the actual rank). These issues are serious and can lead to the article being deleted if not acted upon.--RDBury (talk) 10:21, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
- The article is badly sourced: Several references say nothing about PureCircle. And two that do are not independent: One written by the Technical Director of Pure Circle USA and the other based on an interview with the corporate VP of supply chain at PureCircle. —teb728 t c 22:57, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
- BTW, is the stock symbol PURE.L (as the article has said from the beginning) or PURE (as the reference seems to say)? —teb728 t c 23:28, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
Stevia
editThe Sustainability section is going to be removed. The focus of the sole paragraph is completely on stevia, a crop that PureCircle grows, but this article is not the place to focus on one crop (instead stevia is). Since the section does not mention PureCircle at all, it serves no purpose.--LeyteWolfer (talk) 02:11, 8 February 2012 (UTC)
