Proposed rename
editI propose that this article be renamed, from Theatre 1839, July 29 & 30, 1977 to Pure Jerry: Theatre 1839, July 29 & 30, 1977. That's what it says on the album cover, and most places list the album title as starting with "Pure Jerry". As the article says, this was the first album in the Pure Jerry series. Examples include the Jerry Garcia official website, Allmusic, the Grateful Dead Family Discography, The Music Box, and Blog Critics Music. — Mudwater (Talk) 12:48, 1 March 2013 (UTC)
- It's been more than two weeks and no one has objected to this idea, so I'm going ahead with the rename. — Mudwater (Talk) 18:22, 17 March 2013 (UTC)
Proposed rename again
editNow I propose renaming this article from Pure Jerry: Theatre 1839, July 29 & 30, 1977 to Pure Jerry: Theatre 1839, San Francisco, July 29 & 30, 1977. That is, "San Francisco" should be added to the title. Looking at the cover of the album, that's what it's called. That's also how it's listed on Allmusic. (Recently I replaced the album cover image in the infobox. The one that was there before was for the Borders reissue of the album, I believe. It was purple, and didn't have the words "San Francisco" on it. You can see that here.) — Mudwater (Talk) 14:09, 6 April 2013 (UTC)
