Newport Southbank Bridge → Purple People Bridge – This is the far more common name for this bridge. The article was originally created with this title in 2005, but was moved in 2006 with the comment "uh... what a dumb name". This name is used on the bridge's official website, as well as in virtually all major local media outlets (Cincinnati Enquirer, Cincinnati Magazine, WCPO, Fox19, WVXU).
