Etymology?
editIt looks like it could be a borrowing from Polish (podkomorzé). (Note that this is totally independent from whether they were descendants of Święcowie or not). Jesko seems cognate with (older) Polish Jaśko (with ja- → -je and ś → s, cf. Kashubian language#Phonological processes from Proto-Slavic). 195.187.108.130 (talk) 17:26, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
