Indian pygmy elephant
editWhile this did appear in the Indian media - there needs to be a more reliable source than a stray link to a personal website or suchlike. Please see WP:RS. Shyamal (talk) 10:32, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
- A news came up yesterday that pygmy elephant is being caught on tape in Kerala. Here is the news source. If this looks authentic, please add the details to the corresponding section. Subin Sebastian (talk) 12:07, 4 February 2013 (UTC)
- Authentic would be where there is a proper scale with a person next to a captive elephant. Or the video would show the elephant mark a part of the tree and have a person measure it when the elephant moves off and the camera stays in the same position. I think this is just a bunch of images and observations taken out of context and interpreted poorly. At best, this would appear to be a case of an abnormal individual and almost certainly not a species or subspecies. Shyamal (talk) 04:10, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
Wording in introduction?

- It was vandalism (which had been "undone" in the meanwhile, by introducing a wording that didn't really make sense, either – sheesh). I've reverted back to the original phrasing, which was indeed "reported", not "required". --Florian Blaschke (talk) 13:34, 7 November 2011 (UTC)
Sabah
