Quit or Fired?
editIn the english article it says that Lebedev quit in 1911:
"however he quit the University in 1911, protesting against the politics of the Ministry of Education."
but on the Russian version of the same article it says:
"Был уволен в результате действий министра просвещения"
which roughly translates to: "[He] was fired because of the activity of the Ministry of Education". It then goes on to say the specific case assosiated with it (I did not include that in the quote).
So which one is it? I think it is the Russian version but I don't want to just plow ahead and change it. Neither specifically sources anything, but the link to the specific inquery held afterwords (дело Кассо) does have some citations about the firing of Lebedev and other scientists. If noone objects, I will change it and cite a Russian source (since I do not feel like searching for an english equivalent). --DFRussia 19:07, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
