Python for S60 is not directly designed by 'Guido van Rossum' (Author of Python), but rather the Nokia Research Center. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.57.82.252 (talk) 17:18, 22 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

(and) More to the point, it certainly wasn't developed by the Python Foundation, rather it was developed by Nokia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.104.248.23 (talk) 09:33, 10 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

The image File:Python logo.svg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

Still usable?

Can you still use Python on Nokia S60 Devices (I'm looking for Nokia 5230)? The app has an expired certificate as do all other of Nokia's S60 apps. Theperson50 (talk) 20:27, 14 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

There are eleven entries in the "External links". Three seems to be an acceptable number and of course, everyone has their favorite to add for four. The problem is that none is needed for article promotion.
  • ELpoints #3) states: Links in the "External links" section should be kept to a minimum. A lack of external links or a small number of external links is not a reason to add external links.
  • LINKFARM states: There is nothing wrong with adding one or more useful content-relevant links to the external links section of an article; however, excessive lists can dwarf articles and detract from the purpose of Wikipedia. On articles about topics with many fansites, for example, including a link to one major fansite may be appropriate.
  • WP:ELMIN: Minimize the number of links.
Trim links and remove tag. --Otr500 (talk) 02:41, 7 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
