This stub is a good start, but it needs reliable sources to back up many of its assertions. I've indicated a few of these places. I'm not saying these statements are false, and I'm not challenging the knowledge of the original authors of this section. I'm just pointing out that we must have actual citations to reliable sources rather than just saying "It is thought...". Who thought? Answer that question and we probably have our citation.
