Qosmio Lemon
editPlease do a Google -> "Qosmio lemon" and you will get a lot of angry people with the same problem and all with the early models - F-15 , G-15 etc... The public has a right to know. Hard to imagine the hurt of intention? Thank you Toshiba Stephen Buss

- You may have been just exceptionally unfortunate. I see no indication that Qosmioes have unusually high failure rates on the F-15. Andries 17:53, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
More info needed
edit- Hardware
Look at adding current chipset, memory options, and pci-e or pci. Battery options and expected life? Expand on processor and options.
- Software
Any packaged software? --Groumph05 05:17, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
Response to query
editPossibly add pictures of current models.
Create a current hardware section and merge "Other hardware", "LCD/TV", "Surround Sound", and "Expandability." Then add CPU, RAM and video card. These could be organized into sub-sections.
Antiquated information
editThis article talks about the Toshiba Qosmio from a full decade back from now!!! Now, with the release of the X500 looming, the article is nearly two generations behind! I have not seen a more outdated page than this! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.155.146.2 (talk) 23:36, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

Revamp
editI've begun an article revamp. Hopefully I can get it to GA by sometime next year :). Any help is appreciated; don't forget references! Airplaneman talk 20:07, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
- Hey Airplaneman :), I saw your post at Nja's talkpage, and thought I'd have a look over the article. Straight away I can see two things which could be improved;
- The lead is not almost long enough; it needs to include more information regarding why the product is notable, when it was released, etc. Please see WP:LEDE.
- Instead of using plain <ref> tags as you are doing atm, you should use citation templates, like Template:Cite Book.If you go to my preferences > Gadgets, and enable refTools, it makes this much easier.
- Hope that helps a little :). And the article is looking much better since you started working :). I plan to have a proper read over it some time soon. - Kingpin13 (talk) 10:18, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
Thank you! I'll start work now. Airplaneman talk 20:19, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
- The references could use some minor changes in their positioning, it's small, but it will make the page look nicer;
- No references should be in the lead section. All the information there should also be further down in the page. And the references should go further down also.
- The references should always be on the same side of the punctuation throughout the page. It doesn't matter which side (personally I prefer after (e.g.
blablabla.[1]
is what I like, but notblablabla[1].
)) either way it should be consistent. - Also, if you can fit it in smoothly, it would be good to have the original release date in to lead. - Kingpin13 (talk) 07:54, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you for the tips; I've implemented them. Airplaneman talk 18:19, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
Updating
editToshiba has a new Qosmio coming out soon. It will have 3D support and Intel Sandy Bridge processors. One link is http://techpinger.com/2011/01/toshiba-qosmio-x500-sandy-bridge-powered-gaming-laptop-released-at-ces-2011/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jasper Deng (talk • contribs) 01:57, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
Model list
editIs the model list really worth keeping? It's nowhere near as complete as it claims (e.g., my secondary laptop is an X500-10U). And with the next generation of Qosmio units around the corner (source) it would have to grow even more without contributing much useful information to the topic. --MikeZ (talk) 21:28, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
- I second this. If no-one objects, delete it. Be bold!Jasper Deng (talk) 21:33, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
- Waited long enough for opposing opinions. List has been removed. --MikeZ (talk) 18:11, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
Specifications
editThe table containing an overview of the specifications of recent Qosmio generations has historic value, but with the advent of the recently showcased successor (x700 series) it will soon become more complex. Any ideas on better ways of handling this? --MikeZ (talk) 20:59, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
- Perhaps just have another table below the existing one if the rows are very different? If there are say just a couple of additional rows then it looks to me like there may be enough width for one more column without the text getting too bunched. Rangoon11 (talk) 23:15, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
