Meaningless line
editThe line:
Observe that the space linearly spanned by the matrices over all choices of U is identical to the restriction and This observation leads to a conclusion about the duality between unitary designs and unitary codes.
does not seem to have an obvious meaning and cites no sources. I'd like to delete it entirely, but I'm a little hesitant in case it is half of an important statement. Does anyone understand what this sentence is trying to say? What does it mean to be spanned by U(tensor)U* dU? What conclusion does this lead to? 69.123.120.135 (talk) 03:10, 1 March 2023 (UTC)
- It appears to be from Ref [9], Aidan Roy; A. J. Scott (2009). "Unitary designs and codes", the paragraph after Eq. (1) in Sec. 1 Introduction. 130.199.251.4 (talk) 21:23, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
